wbff tv in baltimore, this is fox 45 news "late edition". >> hello again i am jeff barnd. jennifer is off tonight. there is a new push for the fda to mandate how much salt is in your food. but some baltimore businesses want it on the bill of fair. kathleen cairns explains. >> fda's move to remove sodium is designed to reduce the number of deaths due to heart disease. but leaders in the food industry worry about the affect it could have on their products and their sales. at j.o. spice company in arbutis, salt is the main ingredient for most of the recipes. for 65 years, the same recipes have kept the company at the forefront of the crab spice industry. now its management worries about the impact salt reduction mandate could have on its business. >> so when they impose salt regulations and restrictions, you know, you are not only going to hurt us as a manufacturer,

so i said i am not clapping until we hit new york soil. and that's when i clapped. i was like, yeah. >> euro control, european air traffic agency out of brussels announced it expects 50 to 60 percent of the flights over europe to operate today. and predicts it will improve in the next few days. in a surprise move late, britain civil aviation authority determined the trouble spots no longer hung over the south of england. lifted the flight ban at the major hubs and that quickly planes were landing. troubles are far from over. all eyes on the volume contain know. at heathrow airport. mike tobin. fox news. >> last december, cyber attack on google may have hit the password system. a source close to the investigation, said that the program allows use tores sign in with their password just once to operate a range of services. now the intruders do not appear to have stolen passwords of gmail isolated showers. and the company quickly made

and folks in salisbury, 56 right now on the eastern shore. bigger picture here shows some of the temperatures across the region. 61 in new york city. bat boston at 58. 52 in pittsburg. cleveland at 52. and down in parts of west virginia, 59 degrees in charleston. so it looks like most areas are seeing the mid to upper 50s. drop into the mid to lower 50s through the overnight and as clouds continue to move through the area. few breaks south of us. dc has mainly clear conditions but that will thicken up as the system brings the rain over the state. probably 1:00, or 2:00 in the morning. few sprinkles coming downtown morning rush hour commute shows wet roads. drive carefully. get yourself extra time. roads can be slick with the moisture on the pavement. looking at high pressure continuing to lose the effect over the area. bit of a warm front south of us over carolinas and we will see low pressure follow that. and the upper level low will kind of go over the state of maryland. the initial low to the south. will continue to move out over

the atlantic, wrapping in moisture. so that chance of rain will be off and on through the morning. into the afternoon. and toward the evening tapers off a bit. but we have a cold front that will kind of slowly drape itself across the region. thursday still givings instabilities roots region slight chance for a sprinkle. 20 percent chance. but dryer air is moving in behind that. out of the great lakes that clears us up for later on thursday. and then friday looking at sunshine. and then the next system pushes in from the west. as we get to late saturday and sunday. clouding up tonight. showers overnight. down to 56. tomorrow 62, with rain building in through the afternoon. and five-day forecast. shows breaks in the clouds later thursday. 68 the high. 67 on friday. kicking off the weekend with plenty of sunshine. and saturday probably start out with sun and clouds. and clouds gather through the afternoon with a chances of showers. and rain on saturday night to sunday. sunday being the day that we will probably get the most rain. jeff? >> the nfl released the 2010

patriots. and they host buffalo on the 24th. and then bye week on halloween. right in the middle of the season. which is a good place for that. on november 7 miami. and visit the falcons thursday night football on the 11th. on november 21, ravens visit the panthers. host the bucs on the 28th. and then circle your calendars for this one. sunday night, december 5. the ravens host the steelers in prime time. and they follow that up with a second straight prime time appearance on december 13, against the texans on monday night football. on december 19, ravens host the superbowl champion saints and finish up with two divisional games at the browns, on the 26. and wrapping up at home, against the bengals on january 2. >> last night the orioles lost to seattle 8-2 and it cost burgeson his spot in the major leagues. burgeson allowed seven runs in 2 and a third innings last night. and after the game was optioned to norfolk. he has a 0-2 record and fat
